Dear Jess and American GI Forum - San Jose Chapter,

Thank you for your support and participating in our 2nd annual Day of the Dead celebration on October 29th. We are pleased to welcome you again to our sacred grounds to honor and celebrate your loved ones and community members.

You are welcome to set up your altar as early as the afternoon of Thursday, October 27th. Keep in mind that cemetery grounds close at 5pm. On Friday, October 28th, the grounds will also be open until 5pm. Due to limited accessibility for vehicles once the event is set up, we suggest you set-up your altar no later than Friday, however, you are more than welcome to set up on your altar on the morning of Saturday, October 29th. The event starts at 11am, however the grounds open at 8am. After the event is over, you can dissemble your altar, or can leave it up until the afternoon of Wednesday, November 2nd. Any items left as of Friday morning will be removed at the discretion of cemetery staff.

Parking on the day of the event will be limited. Please arrive early to secure parking in the participant area. This parking area will have little to no access between 11am and 3pm. A parking pass is attached to this e-mail, please bring it with you and place it on your dash.
