The membership is the lifeblood of the organization. It is through our members that we move mountains. The individual contributor helps makeup the various committees and teams that assemble the programs and make all things possible. Please consider joining and contributing to this unique and prestigous organization. The American GI Forum welcomes one and all. MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA:
If you are interested in the activities of the San Jose GI Forum, and would like to become a member, please fill out the form below or download the form and mail it or fax it to 322 South First St. San Jose, CA 95113
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION: FEES
$50.00 annual membership fee includes local, state and national dues. Members receive
a subscription to The Leader, the official monthly newsletter of the San Jose GI Forum, and
free admission to the annual Flores Mexicanas Coronation Ball, Barrio Conference, Fiestas Patrias
Grand Marshal Reception and Family Picnic.
Do non-veterans have the same privileges as veterans?
In the local chapter, yes. They can vote, run for office, and take part in every activity. At the regional,
state and national level, they cannot hold certain elective offices in the organization.
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING:
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month (except when that day conflicts with Cinco de Mayo, or a major holiday, and is changed by one week). Please check the San Jose GI Forum calendar, or the monthly newsletter for meeting details and/or further information.
